Technical SEO: a website that search engines and AI can read.

Technical SEO is the work of building a website that search engines can crawl completely and understand correctly: semantic heading structure, fast-loading pages, structured data and consistent URLs are the foundation. Today the same structure applies to AI answer engines too; GEO and AEO describe organizing content so these engines can cite it as a source. NAFRU builds this foundation as part of the site's structure, not as a task added at the end.

( 00-01 ) • PROBLEM

Three technical reasons sites don't show up in search results.

Content is rendered in the browser, not in the source

If text arrives later through JavaScript, crawlers may see an empty page. We generate pages as ready HTML on the server or at build time.

Traffic dropped after a redesign

URLs changed and no redirects were set up. We map the old URLs one by one and set up permanent redirects.

The page doesn't tell machines what it is about

The heading structure is messy and there is no structured data. We give each page a schema that fits its type and a clear heading hierarchy.

( 00-02 ) • SCOPE

What we deliver in a technical SEO project.

Semantic structure and heading order

A single h1 on every page, logical subheadings and descriptive link text.

Page speed

Static generation, correctly sized images and a first screen that loads with priority.

Structured data

JSON-LD schemas for organization, service, article, frequently asked questions and breadcrumbs.

Crawl files

Sitemap, robots.txt, canonical URLs and llms.txt for AI engines.

( 00-03 ) • PROCESS

A technical SEO project runs in four steps.

  1. 01

    Audit

We review the current site's crawlability, speed and URL structure.

  2. 02

    Structure

Page types, heading structure and the internal linking map are defined.

  3. 03

    Implementation

Schemas, metadata, redirects and crawl files are set up.

  4. 04

    Monitoring

Search console is connected; crawled pages and errors are tracked after launch.

Frequently asked questions.

What is technical SEO?

Technical SEO is the infrastructure work that lets search engines crawl a site and understand it correctly: page speed, heading structure, canonical URLs, sitemap and structured data all fall within it.

What do GEO and AEO mean?

GEO (generative engine optimization) and AEO (answer engine optimization) aim to have content cited as a source in AI-powered search and chat tools. Clear definitions, a question-and-answer structure, structured data and llms.txt are parts of this work.

Do you guarantee a first-place ranking?

No. The search engine decides rankings and nobody can guarantee them. We make sure the site is crawlable, fast and easy to understand; that is the precondition for ranking.

Do you also produce content?

Yes. We can write research-based blog posts and service page copy; the technical foundation and the content work better when handled together.
